About Kandis
I have over 25 years experience in higher education and enjoy seeing my students achieve success. My PhD is in Political Science and I have additional hours in History. I truly believe that every student can succeed and I look for creatives ways in which to convey information to aid in learning content.

I think it is imperative that we prepare students for a fast-paced, technological world filled with competing information. I integrate critical thinking skills, problem-solving capabilities, and use various methods to address the different learning styles of students.
Engagement is key to a student’s success, and I have developed activities that assist students in mastering concepts. I genuinely believe that all students can learn, and a good teacher finds a way to meet the learning needs of their students.
