About Luxshiyaa

Hi! I am a super eager registered hospital pharmacist and med-student that is keen to tutor! I tutor mainly at a university level (Bachelors and Masters of Pharmacy) at the moment, and can tutor for other subjects of different levels (primary through to tertiary) such as anatomy/physiology, biology, maths, and English.

A little bit about me -
I am currently a registered hospital pharmacist working in Brisbane and Gold Coast, and a fourth-year medical student at Bond University. I graduated from UQ in 2018 with B.Pharmacy (Honours, Class 1, and Major in clinical and experimental therapeutics) and completed my Honours research project over 2 years at RBWH in the Women's and Newborn's pharmacy department. I then interned in Toowoomba in hospital pharmacy for one-year, which was a great perspective into regional/rural healthcare, and after registering as a pharmacist returned to Brisbane to work in hospital. I worked full-time, and realised my all-time passion for Medicine, which I then pursued. I now work part-time/casually as a pharmacist at different hospitals and complete private tutoring as I love teaching and always have. As a pharmacy intern, I often created learning opportunities and presentations for staff, patients, and medical students. In medicine itself, I was in the OBSGYN society for 2 years as President (2023) and Communications/Sponsorship (2022) where I loved creating new education events and meeting-likeminded individuals. I am now a part of the Australian Medical Student Association (AMSA-MedEd) as an IT officer and Factsheets team member. I have a deep passion for healthcare and for education, and to give back, as knowledge is power! Outside of this, I love to dance, play music, and stay active with sports and hiking.

About the lesson

Really dependant on you, what you require, and your level, and I will tailor it accordingly! After an initial phone call we can figure this all out! It is helpful to know what you would like to learn or if there are any assignments/quizzes you would like to work on before class. I do lecture-style teachings as well, and am a firm believer on dynamic teaching methods and repetitio
