About Hedy
Had 6 years teaching experience. Taught Pre-GCSE Chinese, GCSE Chinese and Pre-U Chinese. Helped students achieve good results in GCSE Chinese and Pre-U Chinese. I am native speaker of Chinese and also have worked and lived in the UK for nearly 20 years, so I can communicate efficiently in both Chinese and English with good understanding of culture of both countries.

My teaching method is communicative language teaching (CLT) and student-centred. I use CLT to help students develop communicative competence in listening, speaking, reading and writing. I also cover cultural knowledge and understanding in my teaching as culture is inevitably integrated in language. Student-centred teaching style makes me customise my teaching style according to students' needs, preferences and learning styles to achieve the best teaching result.
