About Shaohua

Hello! My name is Shaohua and I am currently living in Taipei. I have been tutoring Chinese for 3 years. I love teaching. Working with people from other countries makes me become a completely different person, positively, of course. Other than teaching, I enjoy learning languages, cooking, and traveling. I can speak Chinese, Korean, and English. I understand that learning languages is a long path. There are lots of things to learn and it is very important to continue learning it. Working with a tutor that you feel comfortable with is a great way to reach your goal. When you are relaxed, it is easier to process and remember things. I am friendly and always trying to help people to learn Chinese. Currently, I am working with 20 students from different countries. If you would like to study with me, please feel free to message. About the lesson

In our first lesson, I would like to know you a little bit more and here are some questions that I ask: (1) Which level are you in? (2) What is your goal? (3) If you are learning this language, what aspects would you like to improve? (4) How would you like to learn? (casual or academic) After the discussion, I will arrange a study plan for you and choose the materials that we will be using in class. In my class, students do most of the talking, even if they are at the beginner level. We will have a lot of speaking practices and I believe that this way helps students to improve their ability effectively.
