About Talia
I am a dedicated chess coach with over 8 years of experience training students of various ages and skill levels. I believe chess is more than a game—it develops focus, patience, and problem-solving ability. I believe confidence plays a key role in chess improvement.

In my chess lessons, I focus on building strong fundamentals, strategic understanding, and disciplined calculation. With over 8 years of coaching experience, I design lessons that support beginners as well as intermediate and competitive players. Core areas include opening principles, tactical patterns, middlegame planning, positional play, and essential endgame techniques. Concepts are explained step by step so learners understand ideas rather than memorizing moves. This structured approach helps players build a solid and reliable foundation.
Practice and analysis form the backbone of my teaching methodology. Students work through tactical exercises, positional problems, and guided practice games to improve pattern recognition and calculation accuracy. I conduct detailed game reviews to highlight strengths, identify mistakes, and suggest strategic improvements. Time management and decision-making under pressure are also emphasized.
