About Arushi
I am an experienced Chemistry tutor with 6 years of teaching and a BSc in Chemistry with Environmental Science. My main focus is helping middle school students understand the basics of matter and reactions. I make Chemistry approachable through fun experiments that are safe to do at home. Demonstrations keep students engaged and show that science is exciting. I often relate concepts to everyday life, such as the science behind cooking or how soap works. Chemistry doesn’t have to feel overwhelming, and that is the core of my teaching philosophy. I create warm and interactive lessons where students feel comfortable asking questions. Problem-solving is a central skill I build, especially for those struggling with concepts and equations. Visual aids and simple experiments make abstract ideas easier to understand. I show how chemistry is everywhere, whether it’s cooking dinner or watching iron rust. I emphasize lab safety in every lesson to give students confidence with practical science. Environmental chemistry is a topic I weave in to show real-world importance. I also share historical discoveries to connect students with the bigger story of science. My approach is step by step and patient, but also engaging and fun. I encourage learners to think critically and make connections. I support those who want to communicate science or link concepts to neuroscience. Each session is tailored to bring swift progress and deeper interest. I believe Chemistry is both useful and magical.
