About SHEELA

In addition to mastering problem-solving techniques, I also encourage critical thinking, helping students develop skills they can apply beyond just exams. From reaction mechanisms to lab techniques, I aim to make chemistry a subject that feels relevant, logical, and even exciting

About the lesson

I am an experienced Chemistry tutor, who is passionate about helping students navigate both Organic and Freshman Chemistry with confidence, curiosity, and a deep understanding. Chemistry can feel overwhelming, but I focus on making even the most complex topics approachable.
My teaching philosophy is centered on helping students understand the why behind the material, rather than just memorizing facts or procedures.

Whether we’re tackling the foundational principles of general chemistry or exploring the intricacies of organic reactions, I take the time to break everything down into manageable, logical steps. I love making abstract concepts tangible—whether it’s using visual aids, real-world examples, or step-by-step breakdowns of mechanisms, I work to create clear connections between structure, reactivity, and mechanism.
