About Dominic
I am a veteran secondary/high school Teacher of Science with 15 years of classroom experience in Scotland and in elite international schools in UAE and Kuwait - including ADEK 'outstanding' rated Al Yasmina British Academy in Abu Dhabi and the renowned Repton School in Dubai. I hold a BSc in Biochemistry and the Diploma in Education (DipEd) from the University of Stirling - consistently ranked among Scotland's top teacher training institutions. My combined background in innovative, high-tech industry and multi-curriculum teaching provides a unique, highly supportive environment for SQA National 5, Higher and IGCSE students.

My teaching approach bridges the gap between abstract textbook theory and real-world application. Having spent 25 years in medical sales/business management before entering the classroom. I help students understand how Chemistry and Biology apply in industry. I focus heavily on exam technique, understanding SQA and IGCSE marking schemes and mastering precise command words. Through targeted practice and structured guidance, I build students' confidence and problem-solving skills to optimise examination performance for university entry.
