Austin is a super keen adult beginner and he has so much appreciation for the piano, and it is incredible to see how much joy the instrument brings him. In turn, it brings me so much joy to teach him!

Perfect! I feel incredibly fortunate to have come across Vanessa in my search for a piano teacher. She is attentive, sensitive + gentle, and organised. She offers many different avenues for your learning, including the opportunity to practise performing in a small safe group setting. She also emphasises the fun of learning piano, which is so important for students like me who instinctively want to treat it like a conquest (which brings a whole lot of anxiety and tension with it). I honestly could say much more still, but hopefully it's clear by now that Vanessa really is a gem of a teacher!

I had the pleasure of studying piano with Vanessa and I can say without a doubt that she is an excellent and caring teacher.

She has a wealth of musical knowledge and she is able to effectively communicate it to her students. She takes the time to understand each student's individual needs and tailor the lessons accordingly, ensuring that our goals are met, progress is made and that I am enjoying the learning process.

Not only is she a talented musician, but she is also patient, kind, and encouraging. She creates a supportive environment in which I as the student feel comfortable to make mistakes and grow as a musician.

She has a remarkable ability to guide her students on a musical journey, bringing out the best in each and every one of us.

I would highly recommend Vanessa to anyone looking for a piano teacher who truly cares about her students and their musical development and inspires her students to reach their full potential.
