About Rashid
I am a retired business executive. I am located in Johannesburg South Africa. I have spent over 25 years of my career travelling across Africa, Middle East, and Europe and I spent some time in the Far East. I have experience in all aspects of corporate business, which includes managing marketing, sales and communications. I have a background in Applied Chemistry and Concrete Technology. My experienced is matched with my academic qualifications.
One of the aspects of my job that I enjoyed tremendously was communicating with people from diverse cultures on my travels. I enjoyed the opportunity to make myself understood in the English language. I enjoy reading across a broad spectrum of subjects. I have an absolute passion for the outdoors and my activities include horse riding, hiking and fly fishing. At home I’m an amateur painter and ceramist, and I love gardening.
After I retired from corporate, I work as an independent management consultant. I decided that doing online teaching would be very stimulating and a productive use of my time.
