As a dedicated and highly qualified biology educator, I bring more than eleven years of teaching experience and a strong academic background, including a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and a Master of Science in Plant Cell and Tissue Culture. I am committed to creating a supportive, structured, and motivating learning environment where every student feels confident and capable. My approach is calm, patient, and tailored to each learner’s needs, ensuring that complex concepts become clear and manageable. I have taught a wide range of students, including those preparing for NCEA Levels 1–3, and I take pride in helping learners build strong understanding, effective study habits, and genuine enthusiasm for science. I believe every learner thrives when teaching is clear, supportive, and connected to real‑world understanding. My tutoring approach blends structured explanations with hands‑on, inquiry‑based learning so students can build confidence as well as deep subject knowledge.
A typical lesson runs for 60 minutes, though I can adjust the length depending on the learner’s needs, attention span, or exam preparation goals.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and a Master of Science in Plant Cell and Tissue Culture, with more than 11 years of experience teaching biology and science at secondary and senior levels. I have also supported diverse learners in New Zealand through curriculum adaptation, practical lab guidance, and personalised learning support.
My lessons are ideal for Years 9–13 students, including those preparing for NCEA Levels 1–3 Biology and Science, learners who need help with foundational understanding, exam skills, or confidence building. My goal is to create a supportive, inclusive environment where every student feels capable and motivated to succeed.
