About Noor
I hold an MA in biological sciences from Columbia University, and a BS in biochemistry from the University of Toronto. I have extensive experience working in multiple biology research labs and staying up to date with current academia. Additionally, I have worked as a teaching assistant in university and have experience assisting students on a one-on-one basis.
Aside from my professional life, I enjoy reading fiction, creative writing, and crocheting sweaters for my cat.

I cater my lessons to each individual student, to make sure I am meeting their needs. I focus on understanding their personal learning goals and what they hope to get out of our tutoring sessions, in order to provide the best support that will help them grow and flourish as a student.
I offer lessons for high school and university students who need help in biology classes. More particularly, my areas of expertise are in biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology, and genetics. I also offer support for students who are writing their undergraduate theses or are looking to improve their scientific writing skills.
