About Fabrice

My name is Fabrice, and I am a Master of Science graduate in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from TU Darmstadt. With over eight years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, and software development, I bring both deep technical knowledge and a passion for teaching. I have worked on complex automation projects in leading companies, and I enjoy sharing my expertise with students and professionals alike. I am patient, clear in my explanations, and fully committed to helping my students achieve real understanding and lasting success.

About the lesson

As an experienced automation engineer with a strong academic and industrial background, I offer structured and hands-on PLC programming lessons designed to meet the individual needs of each learner.
My teaching method

My approach is practical, clear, and adaptable. I begin by assessing the student’s current level and goals, then build a tailored learning path using real-world examples and industry-relevant tools (such as TIA Portal, CODESYS, and Beckhoff TwinCAT). I emphasize understanding core concepts like IEC 61131-3, FSMs, and control logic before diving into hands-on implementation.
A typical lesson

Each session is structured in three parts:

Concept Overview – A short explanation of the theory (e.g., state machines, timers, data blocks)

Practical Application – Step-by-step programming exercises in the relevant environment

Review & Q&A – Clarifying doubts and reinforcing concepts through discussion or small quizzes
