About Brent
I have been teaching ASL for over 20 years, including 13 years within an Interpreter Training Program at a local community college. My experience ranges from teaching community classes for a school for the deaf, teaching as an adjunct for three different institutions of higher education along with the ITP associate professorship, and teaching staff sign language classes at a local school for the deaf. I have also presented on various topics at workshops for sign language interpreters.

I tailor my lessons according to the student's needs. One-on-one lessons depends if the student wants to review what they have been learning in an ASL class or are wanting specific instruction in a topic related to ASL. Small group classes will utilize a curriculum that has already been developed for use in the community or developed by myself to match the needs of the group learning. I believe in constant review, to ensure previous learning builds onto the new learning.

Details
I am willing to travel over 20 miles to meet students at an additional mileage fee. For cancellations, I expect at least 24 hours notice. Less than 24 hours will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
