About Oliver
I’m a fully qualified ARB and RIBA-registered Architect with over 8 years of experience working in architectural practice across London and the South-East. I completed my training through the Level 7 Apprenticeship route, gaining hands-on experience while studying, and I now mentor students following the same path. My work has been published in Dezeen and featured on the front cover of Build It magazine. In 2024, I was nominated for a Build It Award for best extension project. I understand the challenges of architectural education from both sides—as a student and as a practising architect—and I’m here to help you grow in confidence, clarity, and creativity.

I offer tailored one-to-one tutoring for architecture students at Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 levels. Lessons typically last a minimum of one hour and begin with a review of the student’s current work to identify strengths and areas for improvement. My teaching approach is supportive and structured, helping students build confidence while refining their design thinking and presentation skills. We’ll work closely on your current brief, discussing what tutors and architects expect at your level. I aim to help you produce work that is conceptually strong, well-resolved, and clearly communicated—whether that means sketch development, technical detailing, portfolio layout, or preparing for crits. I use a combination of visual thinking techniques, iterative design development, guided self-critique, and strategic goal-setting to help you progress. Sessions are ideally held fortnightly to stay in step with your project development, and over time, we’ll build a rapport that supports your academic and professional growth. I hold a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, and Postgraduate Diploma in Architecture, and I’m a fully qualified ARB and RIBA-registered Architect with over eight years of experience in practice.
