I am willing to work with students of all abilities and backgrounds. My specialty of foundational reading is so important for students to master because reading and writing will be a major part of their lives no matter what they choose to do. My approach targets the fundamentals of phonemic awareness to scaffold students skills and foster successful reading comprehension. Lessons will include letter sound practice, sentence structure, age-appropriate reading material, and valuable assessments. My ability to connect and communicate with students and families along with my long standing experience are what set me apart from other tutors. I am able to instruct students from the Pre-K age up to fourth grade.
