About Xynthea
I’ve been teaching since 2011, and it’s the only career I’ve ever really known. I started tutoring while I was at university, and over the years I’ve taught students of different ages, from primary school children to university students. Originally from the Philippines, I now work in New Zealand as a language support teacher in a primary school, helping ESOL learners build their English skills and confidence. I enjoy seeing students grow and reach goals they didn’t think were possible, and that’s what keeps me passionate about teaching.

My goal is to help you feel more confident using English, whether it’s for IELTS, ESOL, school, work, or everyday life. I’m patient, approachable, and genuinely enjoy seeing my students improve.
