Hi, I am Alisha and I'm a first-year Data Science student. I am a motivated, hardworking, and patient tutor with a passion for helping others reach their academic goals. I strive to create a calm and supportive learning environment where students can develop their skills and build confidence. Outside of tutoring and uni, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, getting outdoors and to the beach, playing music, and baking.

I am a university student and offer tutoring in general Science and Chemistry for secondary school students. I can tutor in person at a student's home or a public library, with lessons typically lasting an hour.
I have three years of experience tutoring a range of ages and levels. I enjoyed the sciences all through high school. In year 13, I was the head of Science organizing and running the school Science Clinic, providing science tutoring to students.
I have a supportive, encouraging manner and am experienced at explaining concepts and working through strategies for solving problems. In my lessons, I use a personalized approach, tailoring my teaching style to how each student learns best. Last year, I was the Head of Peer Tutoring, where I organized and ran a free tutoring program for students in Years 7-13.
I have completed NCEA Levels 1, 2, and 3 with Excellence endorsements and received multiple academic awards.
