"Kia ora rā! I'm Kate from Ngāpuhi, and my marae is just outside Te Pū o Te Wheke, Kaikohe. Having learned te reo Māori during my university years, my profound passion for our language has been a constant. I vividly recall the tears, joy, and laughter on my language learning journey, making me well-equipped to guide you on yours. With seven years of tutoring experience in medical papers at university, this compliments my te reo tutoring background.

For the past three years, I've tutored Te Reo Māori to individuals and small groups in one-hour sessions. As a second language learner myself, I empathize with the challenges and customize lessons for an enjoyable and effective learning experience. I have a Diploma in Māori Language Fluency and a Diploma in Te Reo Māori ki te Reo Kairangi.
