About Sam
Hello,
I have recently completed a Bachelors degree in French and Spanish in Trinity College Dublin and studied both languages at A level.
I have lived in both France and Spain for extended periods of time studying languages. I have experience teaching French and Spanish for actors who wish to work in foreign languages films. Through this I have developed a practice that lends itself toward a native style of speaking with specific emphasis on verbal phrases and correct pronunciation of the written word. I am proficient and knowledgeable with regards to the curriculum for exams and having undertaken A level examinations understand the importance of comprehension of text and the written assessments and can assist in the comprehension and succinct use of dialogue that will undoubtedly improve grade expectations of the student.
What to expect from your first lesson: We will discuss in detail your goals and create a plan in order to achieve them. We will discuss the particular methodologies of learning apply to you. Whether that stems from textbook related work, conversational dialogue, or through images and picture based learning. We can talk through your strengths and weaknesses so that we can develop strategies and activities to help you improve.
I am patient and considerate of the pressures that learning a new language can bring. However the joy of learning a new languages is something I feel passionate about and can help you open new doors to a wider world !
