About Jo
I am an experienced highly qualified primary school teacher, teaching Years 1-8. I have been a facilitator for Massey University delivering professional development in Mathematics to teachers. I have a passion in supporting learners develop a positive relationship to Mathematics.

My maths tutoring fosters conversation and questioning based around a rich task. We discuss ideas to build confidence and understanding of critical concepts. Students can then practice these skills in a meaningful way. Lessons are 45 minutes. I have 15 years experience and hold a Masters Degree in Mathematics Education.
