About Kenneth
I have taught at some great private schools and also Melbourne High School (a select entry school). Many of my students score over 40. I specialise in teaching students techniques to write great text response and comparative essays, dissect argument analysis, decipher poetry, and deliver debates and oral presentations. I can equally teach high-achieving students to sharpen their skills and struggling students to meet requirements.

The three tasks for VCE English are text response, comparative texts and argument analysis. I have developed a number of formulaic strategies to help maths-science students that struggle with English. My greatest strength encouragement that changes the mindset of students to believe they can succeed in English tasks. Students who have submitted sub-standard work are worked with one-on-one to rework their submission until it reaches the standard. This is the area that proves greatest results and means that no-one is left behind in my classes and tutorial sessions. In the end, everyone succeeds, provided they put in the effort. I use easy-to-remember acronyms to prompt students to include all the elements required for success and fun activities that entice everyone to participate. I have an enviable rate of success in both English and Literature studies.
