About Oliver
An excellent experienced Teacher of Science, currently working at Avonbourne Academies and teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics from KS3 to GCSE level. I can teach students across a wide range of abilities and needs. My lessons are structured around giving students opportunities to improve their understanding and recall of key knowledge using metacognition, before developing and testing their understanding and application of key concepts using exam-style questions. Homework and assessment tasks will also be used to reinforce and assess learning. I use patience and encouragement to help motivate students and build their resilience so they understand that it's ok to make mistakes, so they can learn from them and grow in confidence as they prepare for their exams. In addition, I am an examiner of Cambridge International A-Level Biology.
