About Jenny
I’m an experienced English teacher and employability tutor who cares deeply about helping people feel seen, capable, and confident in their learning. I choose to teach because I know how much the right support can change someone’s path, especially when learning has felt difficult or overwhelming in the past. You matter to me as a person, not just a student, and I take the time to understand what you need to succeed. I want to help you build skills you can carry into exams, work, and everyday life, while also growing your confidence and belief in yourself.

I’m a warm, approachable tutor with a strong background in teaching English alongside employability skills, and I specialise in supporting learners with additional needs including mental health challenges, autism, learning disabilities, and brain injuries. I bring real classroom and community experience, which means you get more than subject knowledge, you get tailored support that meets you where you are. I break learning down into clear, simple steps so you can build confidence and make steady progress without feeling overwhelmed. My sessions are calm, structured, and focused on helping you feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. Whether you are working towards GCSEs, developing your English skills, or building confidence for work and everyday life, I adapt my approach to suit how you learn best and help you move forward with confidence.
