About Logan
I have 10 years of teaching experience and hold a Bachelor of Education. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students from middle school through college who wanted to strengthen their algebra skills and improve examination performance. I enjoy helping learners realize that algebra becomes much simpler when every concept is understood through logical reasoning rather than memorization.
One student found solving systems of equations especially challenging because earlier topics had not been fully mastered. We revisited essential concepts, practiced progressively challenging exercises, and strengthened confidence through regular revision sessions. After several months of steady work, the student achieved excellent examination results and began solving advanced algebra problems with confidence.
I believe every learner can succeed in algebra with patience, consistent practice, and clear explanations. My classroom encourages curiosity, thoughtful discussions, and active participation while creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. Helping learners overcome mathematical anxiety remains one of the most rewarding parts of my profession.
Outside teaching, I enjoy creating mathematics worksheets, exploring innovative teaching strategies, and solving challenging mathematical puzzles that inspire creative classroom activities. I begin by identifying each student's understanding of algebraic concepts before creating a learning plan that supports steady progress and long-term confidence. This allows every lesson to focus on strengthening foundations before introducing more advanced topics. Each class combines guided instruction, practical examples, and independent practice to encourage active learning.
Students first develop confidence with variables, expressions, equations, and algebraic operations before moving into functions, graphing, inequalities, and systems of equations. Factorization, quadratic equations, exponents, radicals, and polynomial operations are explained through logical steps that make complex ideas easier to understand. I encourage students to explain their reasoning because discussing mathematical thinking strengthens conceptual understanding.
Real-life examples demonstrate how algebra is used in finance, engineering, science, technology, and everyday decision-making. Word problems are broken into manageable steps so learners can confidently convert practical situations into mathematical equations and solutions. Frequent revision sessions reinforce previous concepts while preparing students for increasingly challenging material.
Students preparing for school examinations, board assessments, SAT, ACT, college entrance tests, or competitive examinations receive personalized revision schedules, topic-wise practice, and examination strategies that improve both speed and accuracy. I regularly monitor progress, provide detailed feedback, and adapt lessons to match each student's learning pace. Every class concludes with carefully selected assignments that strengthen understanding and encourage independent practice.
