About Margaret

I have 28 years of teaching experience and hold a Master of Arts in Mathematics. I believe that successful algebra learning is achieved through curiosity, consistency, and conceptual understanding. Before beginning instruction, I evaluate each student's current mathematical knowledge, confidence level, and academic goals to create a learning plan that supports steady progress. My lessons encourage students to think logically, recognize mathematical relationships, and develop confidence by solving problems independently while receiving continuous guidance.

Students study variables, algebraic expressions, equations, inequalities, functions, graphing, polynomial operations, exponents, radicals, rational expressions, quadratic equations, sequences, matrices, and systems of equations through carefully structured lessons. Every topic is introduced using practical demonstrations, visual representations, collaborative discussions, and progressively challenging exercises that strengthen conceptual understanding rather than simple memorization. Students are encouraged to explain their reasoning, compare solution strategies, and develop flexibility when approaching unfamiliar problems.
