About Laura
I have a PhD in history and culture of Asia and have been the writing program director at a University for the past five years. I have been tutoring English, writing, and critical thinking for over 15 years and have a proven track record for helping students, especially college students, achieve their academic goals. I believe that good writing is a sign of good thinking, and my lessons and approach are tailored to, not only help students write well, but to think critically. Ultimately, I approach writing as a creative act that requires strategy and organization. My students enjoy working with me and get the results they are looking for.
