I struggled in school and know what it feels like to "not get it". Now, as a teacher, I make sure my students understand and enjoy their learning... because learning IS cool and it can be fun! I anticipate misconceptions, use scenarios that actually make sense, and work to build student confidence. I work with students grades 4-8 in math, language arts/English, social studies, and writing.
