About Gabby

I want to teach because I want to help people who struggle like I did. As a child/teenager with ADHD, learning was never easy. Teachers never understood why I could not sit still, or focus; or why I performed well in class but never previous exams.

Eventually, when I got the help I needed and teachers that understood me, I began to do a lot better in my education. I have always had a love for English, Creative Writing, and Content Creation.

I want to teach children and teenagers who struggle to learn to love the subject. I want to inspire confidence. I want to make sure that these students will go to school and not fear their upcoming English exams. I want to be able to share my love of writing with students who need it.

Most of all, I want to show students that English teachers can be fun. In fact, any teacher can. I want to show them that even a 16 year old female can enjoy English and teach it. I want to show them that following your dreams is possible; even with a severe learning difficulty.

If you struggle, please reach out. Even if it is just a random question and not a request for tutoring, I will help you. Not everything is about the money; sometimes your teachers/tutors genuinely want to see you succeed.

About the lesson

- I use techniques that are fun for kids/teenagers to learn, so that they get the most out of lessons. I have experienced difficulties in learning, so I understand the best methods to make people my age, and younger pay attention. I am also able to teach special needs children as I have ADHD.

- Classes are normally 30 mins - 1 and a half hours; depending on how much tutoring I decide that the child/teen can take.

- I have tutored schoolmates before during exams, have written work emails for adults, and spent my whole life with a love for reading. I am looking to have experience, and earn pocket money to help my parents pay for university.

- My tutoring classes are for ages 9 -17. I can and will compromise for younger students if I feel that the child is mature enough to keep up with more difficult tasks.
