About Lauryn
I am a professional counselor with a master’s degree. Although my speciality has nothing to do with math, I have always loved math! I tutored my peers when I was in high school and since then I have tutored siblings, friends of my siblings, and coworkers’ kids.

I like to begin lessons with students showing me which math problems they are currently working on and having them explain what they understand and where they are stuck. From there, I like to break down math problems to explain the logic behind how to solve it and work alongside the student to complete easy to follow steps.
