About Hajar
Ever since I was a kid, diving into the depths of medicine and the Quran felt like two sides of the same coin. I memorized the Quran at 13, Juggling textbooks with Tajweed lessons, than I started Leading Quran classes for 10-15 year olds at the mosque, Those smiles were pure magic. Now, I'm not just chasing medical expertise, I'm fusing it with my passion for the Quran to help people in ways I never imagined. It's a wild mix, I know, but hey, it's what makes me tick. My dream? To leave a mark on the world, blending science with the timeless wisdom of the Quran. Some might call me ambitious, but I call it following my heart. So, here's to juggling stethoscopes and sacred verses, to constant learning, and (most importantly) to making a difference, one chapter, one heartbeat at a time!

My goal is to help students develop a love for the Quran and to provide them with the skills they need to recite it correctly and fluently.
My teaching method focuses on the correct recitation of the Quran with tajweed and the memorization of short surahs.
1. Learning Tajweed:
- I start by teaching the basic rules of tajweed, such as the makharij (points of articulation) and the sifat (characteristics) of the Arabic letters.
- I use a variety of methods to teach tajweed.
- I provide regular feedback and encouragement to help students improve their pronunciation.
2. Memorization of Short Surahs:
- Once students have a basic understanding of tajweed, I begin teaching them how to memorize short surahs.
- I use a variety of techniques to help students memorize, such as repetition, association, and visualization.
- I break down the surahs into smaller sections and gradually increase the amount of text that students memorize.
As a female Hafiz with years of teaching Quran to children (10-15) at my mosque, I ignite a love for the Quran through engaging lessons.
