As a junior undergraduate student majoring in psychology with a counseling minor, I am thrilled to offer my expertise in teaching elementary through high school students. With a passion for guiding and inspiring young minds, I bring a unique approach as a tutor that sets me apart from the rest.

My teaching method revolves around creating a supportive and interactive learning environment. I believe in tailoring my approach to each student's individual needs and learning style, fostering a sense of curiosity and critical thinking. I understand my same passion for this field is not always shared. Therefore,I strive to make the lessons engaging by incorporating various techniques such as discussions, hands-on activities, visual aids, and real-life examples.

A typical lesson plan begins with a brief introduction to the topic, followed by a discussion to gauge the student's prior knowledge and understanding. I then will bring up a real- life example in connection to enhance the student's understanding. I then present the core concepts using clear explanations and relatable examples. To ensure active participation, I encourage questions, discussions, and brainstorming sessions. Finally, I provide practice exercises and short assignments to solidify the learning and offer constructive feedback. I prefer the most interactive learning possible, so most "assignments" will be shared verbally.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my comprehensive understanding of psychology and counseling principles, which allows me to provide a holistic approach to learning. Additionally, my involvement in various studies, experience as an ABA assistant trainee, nanny, and gymnastic instructor have equipped me with practical insights and strategies to address individual challenges effectively.

My lessons are specifically designed for elementary through high school students who seek to explore the fascinating world of psychology and counseling. Whether they are interested in gaining a solid foundation in the subject, preparing for exams, or simply nurturing their curiosity, my lessons cater to their unique needs and aspirations.

Together, let's unlock the potential within each student, empower their minds, and cultivate a lifelong love for psychology and counseling.
