About the lesson

Tutoring doesn't always have to be boring and unengaging! Engaging our Youth through positive reinforcement and critique is NECESSARY nowadays, with Tablets, TVs, Cell Phones, and all of the other countless distractions in the modern world... learning any language or concept for that matter these days is just not something that can be done with traditional book material. At age 5, I immigrated to the United States with my Parents and younger Brother. Growing up here, I was completely immersed in an environment where English was simply expected to be known as my first language, which at times was very challenging. Over the years, though English did become my first language in School, Spanish remained and remains my first language at home with my family. Through my learning experience, I not only excelled in my classes since I had a true interest in learning the material, but I also developed a passion for helping others who may find themselves in a similar situation. As your Spanish or English Tutor, I bring a ton of fun and excitement to the world of learning a new language. Whether you've been studying your second language for a while, or are completely brand new and just starting, I find real value in helping my students reach and achieve success in their studies and goals in life. Through interactive and engaging activities and curriculum, I will develop a custom-tailored plan for us to accomplish your or your child's goals. I pride myself on consistently being available to answer questions or be helpful however I can. I have also been certified E240 in the past to assist our Youth with disabilities such as Autism or Asperger's. Let's start your intellectual journey today!
