About Sadie
Pitch control, exam preparation, and harmony singing form the core of my teaching practice. Imagine the clarity of a note resonating perfectly in your chest before it even reaches your ears. I have spent 13 years teaching singing, helping students navigate the complexities of performance confidence and vocal health.
Managing stage fear and mastering diction often requires subtle warm-up exercises, which I provide through my free notes. My approach centers on steady progress, ensuring that you feel supported rather than overwhelmed as we work through your goals.

Stepping into the studio for the first time, you will find yourself relaxing into a structured routine that immediately grounds your voice. We begin by feeling the weight of your breath, grounding your posture before we touch a single note.
My 13 years of teaching and my MMus degree guide the way I structure our technical drills. You will find these moments of discovery quite refreshing.
Because I align our work with NCEA Levels 1 to 3 and University Entrance requirements, we keep practice purposeful. By the end, you gain clarity on your technique, making the actual act of singing feel effortless and natural.
It is quite rewarding to hear your progress develop over our time together. We prioritize real musical enjoyment, keeping the tone supportive and calm throughout the process. Providing free access to my breathing and warm-up exercises ensures you have tools for your independent work between our sessions.
