About Lily
I am a Guitar tutor with 8 years of teaching experience, dedicated to helping students of all ages develop their musical abilities. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals who wish to learn guitar for personal enjoyment, academic activities, or skill development.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, encouragement, and continuous improvement. I believe that every student has the ability to learn music when given the right guidance and support. Therefore, I design lessons according to each student's goals, interests, and learning speed.
My classes cover guitar basics, chords, scales, rhythm exercises, fingerstyle techniques, music theory, and song practice. I focus on making lessons easy to understand and enjoyable so that students remain motivated throughout their learning journey.
Over the years, I have successfully helped many students build confidence and perform at school functions, college events, and family gatherings. Watching students grow and enjoy music gives me great satisfaction.
My aim is to help students become confident guitar players while developing discipline, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

My teaching methodology is based on compassion, communication, and supportiveness. I believe that every student has their own learning style, and I make sure to understand their needs before planning lessons. I aim to create a comfortable and encouraging environment where students can learn with confidence and enjoy the process of making music.
I teach Guitar through a structured approach that combines theory with practical application. Beginners start with posture, hand coordination, finger exercises, rhythm understanding, basic chords, and simple songs. As students improve, I introduce scales, chord progressions, fingerstyle techniques, strumming patterns, and performance skills. Advanced students are guided in improvisation and musical creativity.
I focus on building strong fundamentals because they are essential for long-term progress. I encourage regular practice, patience, and discipline. Through continuous feedback and clear communication, I help students identify their strengths and improve weaker areas.
Apart from Guitar, I also teach music theory, ear training, rhythm studies, music notation, and basic songwriting concepts. These subjects help students understand music more deeply and become complete musicians.
My goal is to help students develop confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for music while making learning enjoyable and rewarding.
