An important starting point in my lessons is to ensure that my students are aware of their learning goals. To achieve these goals, a variety of teaching strategies such as laboratory activities, videos, games, research and presentation (this may at times be in any format my students desire), cooperative learning activities and field trips are employed.
Students are at times allowed to choose their method of assessment whether a project, quiz, making of models, oral presentations, exit tickets, as I cater to the varied learning styles. Standardized written tests are however done.
