About Luke
I am an engineer with background in construction and manufacturing. As a hobby I have built computers and have a strong second interest in IT and its software including office. My job and hobby have often overlapped and have helped companies maintain excel databases and have designed a lot from scratch using advanced formulas and writing macros to achieve the aim of the sheet (from automatic updating to getting excel to automatically carry out repetitive work). Plus using lots of other features along the way (conditional formatting, data validation etc.).

I understand each person understands and learns in their own way at their own pace. My aim is to gauge the person I am teaching and be transparent in the objectives of the lessons. I will always discuss the aim of the student, given the open nature of excel, to ensure we are focusing on the areas that will best suit the person I am teaching. The lessons will consist of me explaining and demonstrating the objectives then allowing the student to demonstrate the same abilities but using different examples so that the student is adapting the newly learnt skills to a new situation.

Extra travel charge may apply depending on location of student. No cancellation fees for webcam only or if cancellation notice is more than 24 hours, otherwise first hour will be charged.
