About Eloise
I am an Excel tutor with 8 years of teaching experience. I teach Microsoft Excel to high school and college students. Over the years, I have successfully guided around 250 students in improving their Excel skills and building confidence in using spreadsheets for academic and professional work.
My teaching philosophy is focused on making Excel simple, practical, and easy to understand. I believe students learn best when they practice regularly and apply concepts to real-life situations. I start with basic topics such as data entry, formatting, formulas, and functions, and then gradually move to advanced topics like VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, IF functions, pivot tables, charts, conditional formatting, and dashboards.
I also help students connect Excel with real-world applications such as budgeting, mark sheets, business reports, and data analysis. This helps them understand how Excel is used in studies, jobs, and daily tasks. My goal is not only to teach tools but also to build problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
I use a friendly and supportive teaching style. I adapt my lessons based on each student’s learning speed and understanding level. I also provide step-by-step demonstrations, practice exercises, and assignments to improve accuracy and speed. I encourage students to ask questions and learn through hands-on practice.
One of my key achievements is helping many students who were beginners become confident in using Excel for exams, assignments, and job-related tasks. Some of my students have also improved their performance in academics and developed skills useful for office work and interviews.
My aim is to help every student become confident in Excel and use it effectively for their academic and career growth.

My teaching approach in Microsoft Excel is practical, structured, and easy to follow. I focus on helping students understand Excel as a powerful tool for data handling, analysis, and decision making. My sessions are designed for school students, college learners, and professionals who want to improve their computer and analytical skills.
I start with the basics such as cell formatting, formulas, functions, worksheets, and data entry techniques. Then I gradually move to advanced topics like VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, IF statements, pivot tables, charts, conditional formatting, data validation, and dashboards. I also include related tools such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for reports and presentations. In addition, I cover basic data analysis concepts, business reporting, and introduction to data visualization techniques.
My teaching style focuses on Adaptation to Learning Styles, so I adjust my approach based on each student’s understanding speed and comfort level. I use Creativity to make lessons engaging with real-life examples like budgets, marksheets, business reports, and project tracking sheets. I maintain Diplomacy in my communication to ensure students feel comfortable, respected, and encouraged to ask questions freely.
I believe Excel is best learned through practice, so I provide hands-on exercises, assignments, and step-by-step demonstrations. Students are encouraged to solve real-world problems using Excel tools. I also help them prepare for exams, assignments, and job-related tasks such as reporting and data analysis.
My goal is to make students confident in using Excel for academic, professional, and career purposes. I focus on building strong practical skills that can be applied in real situations.
