About Briella

My interest in Excel started when I saw how powerful it is for managing and analysing information in everyday tasks. I completed a Bachelor’s in Computer Applications, where I developed strong technical skills. Over the past 6 years, I have helped students and professionals learn Excel in a simple and practical way. My experience has allowed me to guide learners with patience and clarity.

I believe that Excel should be taught through practice and real-life examples. My teaching approach focuses on helping students understand how each feature works and how to use it effectively. I encourage students to practice regularly and ask questions, which helps them build confidence and improve steadily. I also provide continuous support and feedback to ensure effective learning.

Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring new features in Excel and improving my knowledge of data tools. This helps me keep my lessons updated and relevant. Teaching Excel is very rewarding because I get to help students develop useful skills that can support them in many areas. Seeing them grow in confidence and ability is something I truly enjoy.

About the lesson

Excel becomes easier when students learn how to use it in simple steps with practical examples. In my lessons, I teach basic to advanced features such as data entry, formatting, formulas, functions, and charts in a clear and structured way. I explain each concept slowly so students can understand without confusion. I also use real-life examples like budgeting, tracking data, and creating simple reports to make learning useful. Each lesson is designed to be calm and supportive, helping students gain confidence as they practice and improve.

As students progress, lessons become more focused on improving efficiency and understanding. Beginners learn basic tools, formatting, and simple formulas. Intermediate learners work on functions, charts, and data organisation. Advanced learners focus on complex formulas, data analysis, and professional tasks. I provide step-by-step guidance, regular practice, and feedback to ensure students understand and apply each concept correctly.

Learning Excel also helps students develop logical thinking and organisation skills. As they improve, they become more confident in handling data and completing tasks efficiently. These skills are useful in both studies and work. My goal is to make Excel simple, practical, and easy to understand so students can use it confidently in real-life situations.
