About Akshita

My interest in digital tools began when I discovered how spreadsheet software could simplify complex calculations and organize information efficiently. This interest led me to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, where I studied data systems and computer applications. Over the past 5 years, I have helped students develop practical Excel skills.

I believe technology education should focus on real-world use. My teaching style emphasizes hands-on practice and clear demonstrations so students can see how features work directly in spreadsheets. I guide learners patiently so they feel confident experimenting with different tools.

Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring new software features and studying data organization methods. These activities help me keep my lessons updated and practical. Teaching Excel is rewarding because I see students gain confidence in managing and analyzing information.

About the lesson

My Excel lessons focus on helping students understand how spreadsheets can be used to organize and analyze information effectively. We begin with the basics, including worksheet structure, data entry, and formatting techniques. Students learn how rows, columns, and cells work together to organize data clearly. Simple exercises help learners practice using formulas for calculations such as totals and averages.

As students become more comfortable with these fundamentals, lessons introduce additional tools such as sorting, filtering, and conditional formatting. These features help learners manage larger sets of information and highlight important data patterns. I also guide students in creating charts that visually present information so results can be understood easily.

My goal is to help students develop confidence in using Excel for academic and professional tasks. Lessons encourage organized thinking and careful attention to detail. Over time learners gain the ability to build structured spreadsheets and analyze information independently. Excel becomes a practical tool that supports productivity and data management.
