About Liyana
My interest in Excel started when I saw how data can be transformed into meaningful insights. I completed a Bachelor's Degree in Data Science Applications, and for the past 3 years I have been helping students and professionals improve their spreadsheet skills.
I believe students learn best when they practice while understanding concepts clearly. My teaching approach focuses on patience, clarity, and practical examples that make learning effective and useful. I encourage learners to practice regularly and build confidence through repetition.
Outside teaching, I enjoy working on data analysis projects and exploring modern business tools. Staying updated helps me bring fresh techniques into my lessons. Helping students become confident in Excel is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My Excel lessons are designed to help students understand how to work with data in a clear and practical way. I teach topics such as formulae, functions, charts, PivotTables, data cleaning, and conditional formatting using real-world examples. Instead of memorising steps, students learn how each tool solves meaningful problems. Hands-on practice makes learning simple and engaging.
Each lesson is adapted based on the student’s level and goals. Beginners focus on navigation, basic formulae, and simple calculations, while intermediate learners develop data analysis and reporting skills. Advanced students work on dashboards, complex functions, and structured data interpretation through guided tasks. Regular practice ensures steady improvement.
Excel builds organisation, logical thinking, and attention to detail. My goal is to help students feel confident working with data in both academic and professional environments. With clear guidance and practice, Excel becomes a useful and powerful skill.
