About Lirya

My experience with Excel began during my Master’s Degree in Information Systems, where I learned how important data organization and analysis are in decision making. I was interested in how Excel can simplify complex data and improve efficiency. Over the past 12 years, I have helped students understand Excel in a clear and practical way.

I believe Excel should be easy to learn when taught properly. My teaching style focuses on step-by-step explanations and real-life examples. I make sure students understand each concept before moving forward. I also adjust my teaching approach based on each student’s learning level so they can feel comfortable and confident.

Outside of teaching, I continue exploring new Excel tools and techniques. This helps me keep my lessons updated and relevant. Teaching Excel is meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students develop useful skills that they can apply in real situations.

About the lesson

Excel becomes much easier to understand when students learn how to work with data in a structured and practical way. In my lessons, I focus on making each concept clear and simple so learners can build confidence step by step. We begin with basic skills such as entering data, formatting cells, and understanding simple formulas. I explain each feature carefully using easy examples so students can follow along without confusion. This helps create a comfortable learning environment from the beginning.

As students improve, I introduce more advanced tools such as functions, charts, data sorting, filtering, and pivot tables. I guide learners step by step so they understand how each tool works and when to use it. Every lesson includes practice exercises where students apply their learning to real situations. I also focus on helping them identify and correct mistakes, which helps improve accuracy and confidence over time.

Excel lessons also help students develop strong organizational and analytical skills. They learn how to handle data efficiently and present it clearly. Over time, they become more confident in using Excel independently for both academic and professional tasks. My goal is to help learners build strong and practical Excel skills that they can use in many areas of life.
