About Luna
My interest in Excel started when I realised how effectively it transforms messy information into clear, structured insight. This led me to earn a B.Sc in Information Management Systems, where I explored data organisation, digital tools, and analytical design. Over the past 9 years, I’ve helped students master Excel by teaching in a supportive, step-by-step manner that reduces confusion and builds steady confidence. I enjoy working with learners who may feel intimidated by spreadsheets at first. My approach prioritises clarity, patience, and simplicity so lessons feel manageable and engaging. I focus on giving students the skills they need to understand formulae, organise data effectively, and apply Excel tools to real situations. Over time, many students who initially felt unsure discover that they can manage complex spreadsheets with far more independence than they expected. Outside of teaching, I continue to develop my skills through data-driven projects, personal spreadsheets, and ongoing study of productivity tools. Keeping up with modern features helps me create lessons that feel relevant and practical. Helping students build confidence with Excel is deeply rewarding because I watch them gain practical skills that offer lifelong benefits.

Excel becomes much easier to understand when students see how small tools and functions combine to create powerful solutions. In my lessons, I guide learners through data entry, formatting, formulae, sorting, filtering, charts, logical functions, and basic automation. I break everything into simple, clear steps so students feel confident exploring the programme instead of feeling overwhelmed by its many options. My teaching style is calm, structured, and reassuring, allowing learners to understand not just what to click, but why each tool works. Lessons are always tailored to each student’s level. Beginners work on cell navigation, formatting, basic calculations, and simple functions. Intermediate learners practise logical formulae, multi-sheet organisation, conditional formatting, lookup functions, and structured data cleaning. Advanced students explore pivot tables, data modelling, problem-solving workflows, and scenario-based analysis. Each session builds confidence through hands-on examples and thoughtful guidance. Excel lessons also help students improve problem-solving efficiency, digital organisation, and analytical thinking. As they progress, many learners discover how much time they can save by using tools they never noticed before. My goal is to help students feel comfortable using Excel independently, whether for academics, work, or personal projects.
