About Reva
My interest in Excel began when I realised how important data organisation is in many fields and daily activities. This led me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Information Technology, where I developed strong knowledge of data handling and digital tools. Over the past 8 years, I have helped students and professionals learn Excel through clear explanations and practical teaching methods that focus on real-world applications and confidence building.
My teaching approach focuses on hands-on learning, clarity, and adaptability. I believe students learn best when they actively work on spreadsheets while understanding each feature step by step. I simplify complex tools into smaller parts and use real-life examples to make learning easier. I also encourage students to ask questions and practise regularly, which helps them build confidence and independence in using Excel.
I continue to improve my teaching by exploring new Excel features and techniques. Watching students grow from beginners to confident users is very rewarding. Many learners who initially feel unsure begin to use Excel comfortably and efficiently. Helping them achieve this progress motivates me to continue teaching with dedication and care.

Excel becomes much easier when students understand how to organise and manage data step by step instead of feeling overwhelmed by many tools at once. In my lessons, I focus on teaching spreadsheet basics, formulae, formatting, charts, and data handling using simple and clear explanations. I guide students through each concept carefully so they understand how it works and how it can be applied in real situations. I also use practical examples such as tracking expenses, organising records, and creating reports to make learning useful and meaningful. This helps students stay engaged and understand the importance of Excel in daily tasks.
Lessons are structured according to the student’s level and goals. Beginners start with basic data entry, simple formulae, and formatting techniques to build confidence. Intermediate learners work on functions, sorting, filtering, and creating charts for better data understanding. Advanced students focus on pivot tables, advanced formulae, and data analysis methods that improve efficiency. I include hands-on practice in every lesson so students can apply what they learn and improve steadily. Clear guidance and feedback help them correct mistakes and gain confidence over time.
As students improve, they begin to see Excel as a powerful and useful tool instead of something complicated. Many learners gain confidence as they learn to manage data efficiently and complete tasks more quickly. This growth helps them in both academic and professional environments. My goal is to make Excel simple, practical, and engaging while helping students build strong confidence and useful skills.
