About Samukelisiwe

As a dedicated, loyal and enthusiastic individual, I focus my attention on detail and accuracy. I
maintain strong leadership qualities. My years as a tutor have made me realise that I am more of an
empathic teacher, keen to understand why a student/person may not be understanding a certain
concept than worrying about them being wrong. Through this I believe I have acquired the skill of
understanding and investigation.
I have tutored since 2015 at the university of KwaZulu-Natal. Tutoring has put me in a position to
work with students who had different challenges and came from different cultural backgrounds, this
has allowed me to acquire the skill of having a culturally diverse way of thinking and resolving
issues.
I am working temporary at Adrenergy Research innovations. I am mostly assigned the
responsibilities of doing data quality assurance. Though I work under supervision, this experience
has allowed me to gain knowledge of the importance of following designed procedures to obtain
set/desired outcomes. Through I believe I can motivate my students to be their best at what they do
and emphasized the importance of sticking to a planned schedule to achieve desired academic
results.
I have tutored since 2015 at the university of KwaZulu-Natal. Tutoring has put me in a position to
work with students who had different challenges and came from different cultural backgrounds, this
has allowed me to acquire the skill of having a culturally diverse way of thinking and resolving
issues. None of the students I have tutored failed the module introduction to psychology.
It is for the above mentioned reasons and more that I believe placement in the position of teaching
will add value to my life passion and the lives of the children I will be working with. I believe I can
add value to the lives of those I work with, to bring out the best in them. I constantly strive to gain
more knowledge and experience in my field and see it as a form of mental stimulation. I believe that
I am competent enough to take on major responsibilities. I am enthusiastic to try out new endeavours
and grow from the knowledge I have gained, in that way I can be more profitable to the academic
department.
I am a willing and initiative learner and I hope to be part of your team in the very near future to add

About the lesson

I am a masters student. I currently study Masters in Population studies. I have an honours degree in Psychology.
I have a student orientated approach of teaching, were I consider the uniqueness of students and teach in a manner that's designed for the students learning abilities, including paste of learning.
