About Patience
Calculus usually presents a wall to students until they realize it is just a different language for describing motion. My path into teaching began after graduating with a BSc Pure Mathematics from the University of Melbourne, where I learned that conceptual learning is the only way to retain information.
Across 282 students taught, I have observed that mental math and coordinate geometry are often overlooked basics. Experience over 6 years has taught me that trigonometry and statistics are frequently where students lose the most marks. I provide support for homework help and exam preparation.
