About Mia
"Do you ever find yourself struggling to navigate the fretboard despite knowing the theory behind the music? I hold a BA Ethnomusicology from UCLA and have spent 6 years performing bluegrass and old-time music across the American South.
My instruction covers electric technique, reading sheet music, and the essential mechanics of rhythm guitar. I find that many teens, hobbyists, and working professionals simply need a clear perspective on how these pieces fit together.
I have supported 485 students in their musical growth so far. Teaching comes naturally to me because I truly enjoy the process of deconstructing complex styles into approachable steps. I just hope you feel comfortable enough to ask anything."
