About Merit
I am a committed Duke University recruit for rowing and plan to minor in English during college. Balancing a demanding athletic schedule with strong academics has taught me discipline, time management, and effective study strategies. I bring that same balance and focus into tutoring, helping students stay organized, meet deadlines, and build confidence in their writing while managing busy schedules.

I am a high-achieving high school senior with a strong background in English and academic writing. I help students improve essay structure, clarity, grammar, and confidence in their writing. As a student myself, I understand current classroom expectations and grading standards, allowing me to explain concepts clearly, patiently, and in a way that actually makes sense to students!
