About Lilly
I am from New Zealand and my first language is English. I have finished my undergraduate degree majoring in Spanish and Political Science and minoring in French which has given me a deeper understanding of languages and further capability to teach students whose first language is Spanish or French. I have taught English for a Colombian company that prepared working professionals to work in English. I have also taught English privately in Brazil and can speak basic Portuguese.

I personalise my classes to suit the needs and goals of the student, however my classes contain varying combinations of learning techniques. I usually start off by reading a relevant text out loud and asking the student to read the text back to me and then discussing the topic. Then we work on grammar. Lastly we watch a video and then discuss the topic. This can be adapted depending on whether the student wants to focus on speaking or writing.
