About Samantha
I have experience tutoring both English as a second language and up to KS3 English language and literature. I have taught at all levels of fluency to all ages, including adults. I have tutored both privately and in groups. My day job involves analysing complex information and communicating the relevant points to various audiences, through presentations, letters and emails.

I work with parents and students to create a set of lesson plans for six lessons at a time aimed at meeting each student’s goals. Lesson plans are tailored to target individual student outcomes with milestones to check on learning. I have taught literacy and ESL. Lessons generally start with a student-led recap of the previous weeks’ learning and an opportunity to put the skills gained into practice. I am kind and friendly and provide a calm and structured learning environment to individuals and small groups.
